Location &
Neighborhood

Taste of the Smokies (log cabin 4098) is located in the Hidden Mountain East resort at 475 Apple Valley Road in Sevierville Tennessee. Get to know the area and some of our favorite spots.

Apple Valley Barn and Cider Mill

The Apple Barn & Cider Mill

Not far from Pigeon Forge take a ride down Apple Valley road and stop at the Applewood Farmhouse for Southern comfort food or better yet, their signature apple fritters, YUMMM!! Steps away you’ll find the Apple Barn Cider House where you can enjoy apple pies & hand-crafted hard ciders. While at it, you might as well do the tasting. If hard cider is not your cup of tea, try The Apple Valley Creamery and Bake Shop or Apple Barn Winery.

Downtown Sevierville

Downtown Sevierville

When there isn’t a fair taking place, there’s still reason to check out the small but growing downtown Sevierville. One of those is to have drinks or dinner or both at Seasons 101 Restaurant. Located at the Historic Central Hotel enjoy signature dishes and cocktails inspired by the current season. If you’re looking for outdoor space they have a small patio.

Iron Forge Brewery Pretzel
Iron Forge Brewery

Iron Forge Brewery

Recently opened Iron Forge Brewery has become a local spot and for good reason! The food is tasty (you must try the pretzel) and the beers are great. Not a beer drinker? There’s a full bar too! The brewery is pet friendly in the beer garden or patio so bring the whole family.

Anakeesta

Anakeesta

Located in Gatlinburg, Anakeesta is a mountaintop park offering something for everyone. Start your way up via a gondola ride (or via bus if you prefer to stay closer to the ground). Once you reach the top, enjoy the Treetop Skywalk, Ziplines, Mountain Coaster & more! For those who prefer relaxation to adventure, take in the beautiful views from just about anywhere or try to snag one of the rocking chairs.

Greenbrier Restaurant

Red Oak Bistro / The Greenbrier Restaurant

Here are a couple of our fave spots to eat in Gatlinburg. The Red Oak Bistro serves European-style small plates, wine & beer. They have multiple fireplace & an outdoor patio.

The Greenbrier Restaurant, a family-friendly spot offering American meat & seafood dishes served in a homey log-cabin setting.
